Engine Hatch

The engine hatch is controlled by a cockpit
switch which when energized uses dual
actuators synchronized to lift the hatch. Under
the port aft cockpit lounge seat is an access
hatch. This permits the hatch pin to be pulled in

red cover before connecting
positive cable. Reinstall red
cover on positive post when
fi nished.

After the pin is pulled
through the access
plate the hatch can
be manually lifted.
Use caution when
lifting the hatch and
use a helper to aid in
distributing the load.
If an extra battery is
on board in lieu of
the above procedure, use
jumper cables to connect
to the EZ charger box
and press the hatch
switch to lift the hatch
itself. When connecting
battery jumper cables
always observe correct
polarity; red to positive
and black to negative.
Remove EZ charger
