Listening to Other Portable Audio Devices:

If you have an iPod without a docking port or a different MP3 player, including
other portable audio devices you may play them through the dock for iPod
iBeam
®
Sound System through the built-in AUX-IN jack, located behind the
main unit.
1. Ensure the speaker dock is OFF.
2. Plug your audio device into AUX IN socket (located behind the main unit).
3. Press the power button

NOTE: You may need to turn your external audio device ON as well.
4. Press the skip buttons

NOTE: You may need to turn your external audio device OFF as well.

Using Headphones (not included):

If you would like to listen to your music privately through the use of headphones,
you may do so in one step. Simply plug your headphones into the phones
socket, located behind the unit. Compatible headphones have a 3.5mm diameter
stereo plug and an impedance of 8-32 Ohms. When your headphones are
connected, the stereo speakers are automatically disconnected.

SOLUTION
• Adjust the volume.
• Disconnect the headphones.
• Connect the adaptor properly.
Turn off the unit, disconnect the adaptor
plug from outlet and then reconnect after
a few seconds.
Remove your iPod from the dock and
check for obstruction on the connectors
in the dock and on the iPod. Then insert it
back into the docking connector base.
