    MAC address table. MAC address table is the foundation and premise for switch to implement fast forwarding. ZXR10 5900E series realizes the following MAC services:  MAC Address Fixation When the network is operated steadily for a while, the locations of the equipment linking to all ports of the switch are fixed.

    3.1.2 VLAN ZXR10 5900E series have basic L2/L3 switching functions. The forwarding carried out in data link layer realizes the classification of virtual working group by supporting IEEE 802.1Q protocol. ZXR10 5900E series supports multiple ways to classify VLAN, i.e. the classification based upon equipment port, or the classification based upon the host MAC address and the network layer information of user’s message.
