Emergency Rear Wheel
Removal/Installation
Refer to
Saf ety Precautions
We recommend wheel removal be done
only by your Honda dealer or another
qualified mechanic. Do not attempt to
remove the wheel on your own. Wheel
removal requires mechanical skill and
professional tools.
Removal
1.
Park your motorcycle on a firm, level
surface.
2.
Raise the rear wheel off the ground by
placing a support block under the
engine.
3.
Remove the rear brake adjusting nut ( ),

If You Have a Flat Tire
disconnect the brake rod ( ) from the
brake arm ( ) by pushing down on the

rear brake pedal.
