Washer Top Lid Lock - Operation
When the washer goes into spin or rinse, the control activates the thermal actuator and
the lid lock PTC heater (Positive Temperature Coefficient) from control terminals 2 & 6.
The PTC heats the lock bimetal which in turn puts downward pressure on the locking
pin.
