WARNINGS TO PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS
The ultimate safety of your child depends on the proper and secure
installation of the Car Seat in your vehicle. Proper installation
requires that you read and understand this entire manual and
your vehicle's owner's manual before placing your child in the
seat. DO NOT allow others to install or use this Car Seat unless
they completely understand its proper installation and use.
Even if using this Car Seat seems easy to figure out on
your own, it is very important to follow all instructions on
this Car Seat and in the written instructions. READ THIS
OWNER'S MANUAL and the vehicle owner's manual.
Failure to properly use this Car Seat can result in serious
injury or death from a crash, sharp turn or sudden stop. Your
child's safety depends on you installing and using this Car
Seat correctly. Use this Car Seat forward-facing only.
Your child's safety depends on you:
• Choosing the correct mode of use for your child's height and weight.
• Choosing the best location for the Car Seat in your vehicle.
• Properly routing the vehicle seat belt or LATCH.
• Properly securing the Car Seat in the vehicle by using
LATCH or using a seat belt designed to retain both the Car
Seat and your child. Proper use and routing of the seat
belts in your vehicle is essential for proper installation. Many
vehicle seat belts are NOT safe to use with this Car Seat.
• Properly securing your child in the child restraint.
