Troubleshooting (Continued)
Problem
The MD deck does not respond
as a whole.
Displayed name of MD or CD
does not match the disc's data.
Recording from a CD in the CD-
ROM drive to an MD in the MD
deck cannot be done.
Sound from the MD in the MD
deck connected to the LINE IN
jacks of a computer is not output
from the computer's speakers

Cause/countermeasure
n Check the cables are connected properly (page
7).
n Check that "Serial Setup" has been done
properly (page 16).
n Disconnect cables of the connector and then
reconnect them.
n Click the Reload button.
n Restart the MD Editor 2.
n Check that the audio connecting cord is
correctly connected (page 8).
n Check that the settings for the devices in the
"Volume Control" window are correct.
n Check that the audio connecting cord is
