5. Press e to start the search.
A list of the wildcard matches appear. Up to
100 words may be displayed in the list.
6. In the list, select a desired word using the
number keys (press 3 in this example).
The detail view of the selected word appears.
• Press f to return to the previous view.
• Press ^ l to list the headwords in
Langenscheidt Englisch-Deutsch.
• To initiate another search, simply type in the new spelling or press ^
to return to the input screen of the Crossword solver.

Anagram solver (Anagramm lösen)
You can input a word or a sequence of characters to search for identical anagrams in
the dictionary Langenscheidt English-German. An anagram is a word game, which
creates meaningful, new words by re-arranging the sequence of characters.
<Example>
Find anagrams for 'dear'.
1. Press
to open Langenscheidt
t
Englisch-Deutsch.
b
2. Press the } three times to place the cursor
at the 'Buchstabenrätsel', then press
e . The solver menu appears.
3. Press 2 . The input screen of the Anagram
solver appears.
4. Place 'dear' in the input field, then press
e to initiate the search. Up to 100
words may be displayed in the list.
