Copying titles
∫ When copying to disc in normal speed
mode
[-R] [-R]DL] [-RW‹V›] [+R] [+R]DL] [+RW]
You cannot copy to the disc in the following cases.
– When there is not enough free space on the HDD.
– When the number of titles recorded to the HDD and the
number of titles to be copied to the disc is greater than
999 in total.
∫ When stopping the normal speed copy
during copy
Copies until the point cancelled.
– [-R] [-R]DL] [-RW‹V›] [+R] [+R]DL] [+RW] If copy is cancelled
during the step while temporarily copying to the HDD,
then nothing will be copied.
[BD-R] [-R] [-R]DL] [-RW‹V›] [+R] [+R]DL] [+RW] Even if the title
was not copied to the disc, the amount of remaining writable
disc space becomes less.
∫ About maintaining the chapter mark
≥Position of the chapter might shift slightly.
≥It will not maintain the exceeded amount if it exceeds the
maximum chapter numbers on a disc.
– [BD-RE] [BD-R] [RAM] [-R] [-R]DL] [-RW‹V›] : Approx. 1000
– [+R] [+R]DL] [+RW] : Approx. 254

Playback the title to copy.
≥If you also want to record the subtitles, display the
subtitles by pressing [STTL
If you want to switch the subtitles, select the
subtitles with "Subtitles" in the Disc menu. (

Press [OPTION].

Select "Copy Title Playing", then press
[OK].

Select "Start", then press [OK].
≥It will start copying from the beginning of the title
regardless of the playing position.
To stop copying
Press and hold [RETURN
≥ You can record to or play HDD while high speed copying.
Press [OK] to disappear the screen display.
≥ Press [STATUS ] to confirm the current progress.
To play DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW (DVD-Video format),
+R and +R DL on other players, it is necessary to finalise
them after copy ( 73). To play +RW on other players, we
recommend you create top menu (
play on all DVD players.
