the battery
1.
Charge the Battery Pack (1) before
each use so that you will have a fully
powered tool. To charge the Battery
Pack:
a.
Plug the Adapter cord into the Char-
ger Base, then plug the Adapter into
a 120V electrical outlet.
b.
Align the positive (+) and negative
(-) markings on the Battery Pack (1)
and the Charger Base, then slide the
Battery Pack into the Charger Base,
and push it until it snaps into place.
The red LED on the Charger Base
will light up.
c.
Place the Battery Pack and Base on
a stable, non-flammable surface.
d.
The red LED will turn off when
charging is complete, (approx. 5-7
hours). Unplug the Adapter and dis-
connect the Charger Base from the
Adapter and the Battery Pack.
2.
To attach the Battery Pack to the
Grinder, slide the Battery Pack into
the bottom of the Grinder until it
snaps securely into place.
3.
To remove the Battery Pack from
the Grinder, depress the two but-
tons on the sides of the Battery Pack
and slide the Battery Pack out of the
Grinder.

position and remove the
battery pack (1) before
installing accessories.
installing a non-threaded accessory
1.
The Accessory MUST be:
•
rated to more than 6,500 RPM.
•
no larger than 4-1/2" in diameter.
•
fitted with a 7/8" round arbor hole.
•
1/4" thick or less.
•
dry and clean.
•
proven undamaged by inspec-
tion and by the ring-test explained
below.

Button (30) to prevent the Spindle
(36) from turning.

Remove the Outer Flange (17), by
unthreading it counterclockwise.
