III. Additional Features
Your iRiver Clix has a few additional features that can enhance your Audible
listening experience during the playback of your Audible files. This list of features can be
accessed during the playback of Audible files by Clicking and holding {Right}
1. Search Type
• • • • The Search Type feature will allow you to switch between Section navigation
and Bookmark navigation.
• • • • Section Navigation is the default setting, which allows you to skip backward and
forward during the playback of an Audible file, according the pre-set sections
encoded in the file.

Bookmark Navigation allows you to skip backward and forward during the
playback of an Audible file, according to the bookmarks that you have created for

You also have the option of turning off the Navigation feature altogether by
clicking the Off option.

After choosing your Search Type, Click {Left} to return to the previous menu.
2. Playback Speed
You have the option of accelerating the playback speed of your Audible Files by
Clicking {Right} on the Playing Speed option from the additional features menu.
• The accelerated playback speed ranges from 0 (normal playback speed)
to 6 ( fastest playback speed)
• Click {UP} to increase the playback speed.
• Click {Down} to decrease the playback speed.
• After choosing your Playback Speed, Click {Left} to return to the previous
menu.
3. Book Information
You also have the option of viewing of brief text description of your Audible files
during playback by Clicking {Right} on the Book Information option from the
additional features menu.
