Yamaha Sound Driver Installation
Yamaha Soundchip drivers for Windows 2000
Ø
For windows 2000, after installation of windows go to 'my computer' and
select 'properties'. Now the 'system properties' menu will be shown. Select
'hardware' tab, and click the 'device manager' button.
On the device manager a question mark will be shown under 'multimedia
audio controller'. Do not remove this entry!
To change the driver, click this entry and select properties -> driver ->
update driver. Now an updatemenu will be shown. If windows asks you
for the location of the driver, give it the following directory:
d:\driv-com\yamaha\WIN98&2000wdm\v4.10.2119
After the installation is finished, windows 2000 will properly recognize
your Yamaha sound chip.
Application for windows 95, 98 and 98SE

On the CD an application is available for the Yamaha soundchip.To install
this application (Ystation),please go to the following directory:
YAMAHA Codec Application Driver directory:
Ø
driv-com\yamaha\Ystation\v3.26\Setup.exe
and run the setup.exe file. This will install the application.
Wavetable for windows NT
Ø
On the CD a wavetable is available. This wavetable has to be installed to
make use of MIDI. To install take the following steps:
Double click 'my computer', and choose 'control panel'.
Select the multi media icon and select the devices tab.
Now select 'MIDI devices and instruments' and click the 'add' button
below.
Choose 'unlisted or updated driver' and press OK.
