Press keypad keys to enter the numbers you want.
When you finish entering numbers, press
switch to another entry method.

In a text entry screen, press

1 Press a key one or more times to show possible
symbol combinations at the bottom of the screen.
2 Scroll left or right to highlight the symbol you
want.
3 Press Select to enter the highlighted symbol.

delete, and then:

When you close your phone, the
external display shows the time,
status indicators, and notifications for
incoming calls. (For a list of phone
status indicators, see page 18.)
