  • Page 4 Introduction This manual is designed to help you to get the most out of your L2 Audio XO223V 2/3 way crossover. The XO223V can either work in the more common 2 way stereo mode or 3 way mono mode. A crossover is designed to electronically separate the audio frequencies so that loudspeakers can efficiently handle the frequency range for which they were designed.
  • Page 5 INV low. This switch reverses the polarity of the low output. When pressed the LED will light. Gain Hi output. This controls the output level of the high band over the range from 0dB to +6dB. INV high. This switch reverses the polarity of the high output. When pressed the LED will light.
  • Page 6 Input control. This controls the input gain from –12dB to +12dB. In this mono mode, this is the units only input gain control. Low/Mid xover freq. This control governs the crossover frequency between low and middle bands. Mid/High xover freq. This control governs the crossover frequency between middle and high bands.
