PROBABLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
Rotate the power inverter connector slightly
in the vehicle's accessory outlet to ensure
there is good contact.
Most vehicles require the ignition switch
to be in the on position.
Start vehicle to recharge vehicle battery or
check vehicle battery voltage.
Replace vehicle fuse.
See "Warranty", page 17.
Disconnect appliance(s), disconnect
power inverter, wait a few minutes, plug
in the power inverter, and plug in
reduced load. Charge appliances with
power ratings less than 100 watts AND
with surge power less than 200 watts.
Low voltage shutdown has occurred; Start
vehicle to recharge vehicle battery or check
vehicle battery voltage.
Thermal shut-down protection has
occurred; Unplug accessories and
leave the power inverter plugged in
allowing fan to cool the unit. Clear
objects away from power inverter to
improve air flow, move it to a cooler
location, or reduce load if power
inverter is operated continuously.
