Reset

Restarting HTC Deluxe (Soft reset)
If HTC Deluxe is running slower than normal, is unresponsive, or has an app that is not
performing properly, try rebooting and see if that helps solve the problem.
1. If the display is off, press the POWER button to turn it back on.
2. Unlock the display.
3. Press and hold the POWER button, and then tap Restart.
4. When asked to confirm, tap Restart.
HTC Deluxe not responding?
If HTC Deluxe does not respond when you touch the screen or press the
buttons, you can still restart it.
Press and hold the POWER button for at least 10 seconds. HTC Deluxe then
restarts.
Resetting HTC Deluxe (Hard reset)
If you're passing HTC Deluxe on to someone else or HTC Deluxe has a persistent
problem that cannot be solved, you can perform a factory reset (also called a hard
reset or master reset).
Factory reset will permanently remove everything that's in the phone storage,
which include your media files, data, and customized settings, as well as apps
you've downloaded and installed. Be sure to back up any data and files you want to
keep before you do a factory reset.
Performing a factory reset from settings
1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap
2. Tap Backup & reset.
3. Tap Reset phone.
4. On the Reset phone screen, tap Reset phone.
5. If you want to permanently delete media and other data on HTC Deluxe, tap OK.
