Note Each dome requires a 24V AC at 1 A or 12V DC at 1.5A ± 15% power source
when measured at the dome. To maintain 24V AC at 1 A or 12V DC at 1.5A ±
15% at each dome, the proper wire size for the distance and the number of
domes must be determined.
Follow the instructions to install either an:
• Indoor pendant or surface mount.
• In-ceiling for a dropped or hard ceiling.
The following explains how to install either a ceiling or wall mount with the indoor pendant
or surface mount. The cover and lower dome installation is the same for both. See
Figure 2-6.
Note All ACUIX ES pendant/surface mount shipments include both the skirt and top
cap. Use the part appropriate to the installation; the other is a spare part.
In addition to the other items normally supplied by the installer, the following may be
required for the surface installation:
• Tape or plastic channel to prevent dust and material from falling from the ceiling.
• Mounting hardware appropriate for your installation surface.
