Getting Acquainted

Write with the Stylus and the Transcriber

You can write words, letters, numbers, and symbols anywhere on
the screen using the stylus and Transcriber.
To write with the stylus and transcriber:
1. From any program, tap the up arrow next to the Input Panel
button.
2. Tap Transcriber.
3. Write on the screen.
What you write will be converted to text.

Write with the Stylus and Block Recognizer

You can write letters, numbers, and symbols using the stylus and
Block Recognizer. You create words and sentences by writing
letters and numbers in specific areas.
You can input character strokes you learned using Graffiti.
To write with stylus and block recognizer:
1. From any program, tap the up arrow next to the Input Panel
button.
2. Tap Block Recognizer.
3. Write a word, letter, or symbol in the input box.
a. To type text, write a letter in the input box labeled "abc."
b. To type numbers or symbols, write a number or symbol
What you write will be converted to text.

in the input box labeled "123."
