    Safety tips Description Before you use your BlackBerry® Wireless Headset HS-500, it is important that you read the compliance information and the guidelines for the safe use of your headset that are found in this guide. Use only Research In Motion approved chargers. Use of chargers that have not been approved by RIM might present a risk of fire or explosion, which could cause serious harm, death, or property loss.

    The BlackBerry® Wireless Headset HS-500 contains a non-removable lithium-polymer battery. Charge the battery with only the approved BlackBerry charging accessories. Do not attempt to remove the battery. Do not dispose of the headset in a fire, as the battery might explode.
