    WARNING: All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks and tags are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety. GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION KidiMagic ® uses 4 “AA” size batteries or a VTech 9V or 7.5V adaptor (sold separately). • Make sure the unit is turned OFF. • Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the unit.

AC/DC ADAPTOR Use a VTech ® adaptor or any other standard adaptor that complies with EN61558 DC 9V 300mA or 7.5V 400mA. CONNECTING AN AC/DC ADAPTOR • Make sure the unit is turned OFF. • Locate the adaptor jack on the back of the unit. • Insert the adaptor plug into the unit’s adaptor jack. • Plug the adaptor into a wall outlet.

    If the problem persists, the adaptor you are using may be faulty. ADAPTOR NOTICE • Use a VTech adaptor or any other toy adaptor that complies with EN61558 DC 9V 300mA or 7.5V 400mA centre-positive adaptor. • This toy is not suitable for children under 36 months. • Only use the recommended toy adaptor with this toy. • The adaptor is not a toy. • Never clean a plugged in toy with liquid. • Never use more than one adaptor. • Do not leave the toy plugged in for extended periods of time. • Please regularly examine the adaptor, checking for damage to the cord, plug, transformer or other parts.

    TIME DISPLAY/OFF BUTTON Press the Time Display/Off button to first turn the unit on. After the first time turning the unit on, pressing any button will wake the unit up. Press Time Display/Off button in Time Display mode to turn the unit off and go to standby mode. STANDBY MODE To preserve battery life, KidiMagic will automatically shut down and enter standby mode if there is no operation for a short period of time. Pressing the Time Display/Off button once in Time Display mode will turn the unit off and enter standby mode. Press any mode button to wake the unit up and go to the corresponding function. VOLUME CONTROL Turn the Volume Wheel to adjust the volume.

FM Radio In this mode you can listen to your favourite FM Radio stations. If you are using the radio for the first time, the unit will automatically start searching for a station. You can save up to 6 radio stations. The frequency range is 87.5 - 108 MHz. • Press the / buttons to select different saved radio stations. • Hold the buttons to auto search for a radio station. • Press the buttons to manually search through the frequency range. Note: • When auto-searching or listening to a station, the fan will shut down after the channel information is displayed for a short while. Press the FM Radio mode button to turn the fan display on while listening to a station.
  • Page 11 • Hide & Seek An animal will hide behind one of the four direction buttons. Try your luck and see if you can find it in 3 tries or less by pressing the direction buttons. 7.
