1 Click on the Start ->Settings -> Control Panel.
2 Click on the System icon
3 Click on the Device Manager tab.
4 Double-click on the CD-ROM.
CD-ROM device is indicated.
5 Click on the CD-ROM device and then click on the Properties.
The Properties of CD-ROM Device dialog box appears.
6 Click on the Setting tab.
7 Click on the Auto notification of insertion in Option to set it disabled.
8 Click on OK.
9 Click on OK or Close in the System Property dialog box to go back to the Control Panel window.
10 Restart the PC unit.
To enable auto notification, click on "Auto notification of insertion" in step 7 to put check mark on
it.
