Press [SETUP] to exit and turn off the
unit.
Select "Manual" at step 4, then press
[ENTER].
Use [the Number buttons] or
[A

to enter your PBS channel number,
then press [ENTER].
Press
[I/O
ON/STANDBY] to turn off
the unit.
This unit will search for the time only when the
power is off. Leave it off for several minutes to
give this unit time to set the clock.
Press [SETUP] to exit.
Use

to select "Auto", then
press [ENTER].

to select "Auto Clock
Setting", then press [ENTER].
Use

to select "Clock", then

"Clock" menu will appear.

This unit can set the time and date automatically by
referring to a PBS station.
Make sure
• The antenna/cable TV connections are correct.
• Channels are set. (Refer to pages 26-28.)
• If this unit is connected to a cable/satellite box,
select the local PBS station on them to set the clock
automatically.
Set the clock before you try the timer programming. If a PBS (public broadcasting station) is available in your area,
follow "Auto Clock Setting" below. If not, follow "Manual Clock Setting" on page 30.
