Germicidal Lamp Replacement

Lamps are effective for about 12 months of continuous use.
Replace earlier if there is no "blue glow" inside the housing,
when the unit is running in G.P. mode.
Oil from fingers will reduce the germicidal performance of
the U.V. lamp. DO NOT allow fingers to come in contact
with the glass. Use gloves or handle only by the metal area
of the lamp. If you touch the lamp or need to clean it for any
reason, wipe with a paper towel dampened with alcohol or any
ammonia-based cleaner (such as Windex brand).
Remove the cover by lifting up on the
RELEASE TAB
and sliding the cover upward.
Turn the lamp 1/4 turn (two "clicks")
and slide it from its fixture. Replace
with a new lamp of the same type.

Consult your local regulations for the proper disposal method
of used fluorescent lamps.
