TAKING CARE OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS

VIBRATION PROBLEMS

Possible Cause
Grass and debris is lodged under the mower
deck
Blades are loose, bent, damaged, or
unbalanced by improper sharpening
Mechanical damage, such as a bent
crankshaft

MOWING AND BAGGING PROBLEMS

Possible Cause
Engine speed is too slow to cut well
Mower is moving too fast for lawn conditions Turn the Smart Drive control to a slower
Adjustment levers are set at different

Grass bag is overfilled or clogged
Mower deck is clogged
Blades are dull, worn, or damaged
Correction
Clean out the mower deck (page 21)
Tighten loose blades bolts. If the blades are
found to be bent or damaged, take the lawn
mower to an authorized Honda servicing
