    (1) This camera is not resistant to water and must not be used in the rain or in water. lf the camera accidentally gets wet, contact your nearest Canon service center as soon as possible. lf a few water droplets fall on the camera, place it on a well-ventilated and stable surface and wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.

The camera then takes over, setting everything automatically for your photograph. In the shutter-priority zone, you set the s h u t t e r s p e e d a n d t h e c a m e r a a u t o m a t i c a l l y s e t s t h e a p e r t u r e t o o b t a i n a s u i t a b l e e x p o s u r e .
