CLEANING THE HAND VAC
See Figures 8 - 11.
The dust bowl should be checked, emptied and cleaned
periodically to obtain maximum dust collection.
REMOVING THE DUST BOWL
See Figure 8.
 Remove the battery pack from the vacuum.
 Depress the release button located on top of the hand vac.
Pull the dust bowl down and out as shown to separate it
from the motor housing.
NOTE: Do not tilt or tip the hand vac back with liquids in
the dust bowl.
REMOVING AND CLEANING THE FILTERS
See Figure 9.
 Remove the battery pack from the vacuum.
 Remove the assembled filter rack and filter by pulling
them out of the dust bowl.
NOTE: The filter is locked in place in the filter rack.
 Twist the filter to unlock from the filter rack tabs and
remove the filter.
 Shake or lightly brush any dust or dirt off the filter.
 Empty the filter, filter rack, and dust bowl; wash if neces-
sary. Before reattaching to the hand vac, make sure all
pieces are completely dry.

REPLACING THE FILTER

See Figure 10.\
When purchasing replacement filter, request recommended
part number 3023109.
 Place the filter in the filter rack ensuring the slots in the
filter are aligned with the tabs on the filter rack. When
assembled correctly, the arrow shown on the filter should
be pointed up. Twist the filter to lock in place.
 Place the assembled filter rack and filter into the dust
bowl.
