Basic Usage
This chapter introduces the basic usages of the SA5000. Please read the following instruc-
tions carefully so that you know how to operate your device.
Power On
Before any operations can be performed, you have to �rst turn on the device. Follow the
steps below to turn on the SA5000.
Power Off
Once the device is turned on, you can turn it off in any mode. Follow the steps below to
turn off your SA5000.

. Press the Play/ Pause button once.
2. The screen will display the Start Logo.
3. When you see the Main Menu on the screen, the device is ready to
use.
. In any modes, press the Play / Pause button for about 2 seconds.
2. The screen will display �Bye�.
3. When the screen turns dark, the device is turned off.
Note: If the SA5000 does not respond for several minutes, press
and hold for 0 seconds to force shut down.
