    Close the display and turn the computer upside-down on a flat work surface. NOTE: To avoid damaging the system board, you must remove the main battery before you service the computer. Remove the main battery. Turn the computer top-side up. Open the display.

    After you complete any replacement procedure, ensure you connect any external devices, cards, and cables before turning on your computer.     Removing the ATG Port Covers Before Working Inside Your Computer . Follow the procedures in Remove the screws on the right ATG port cover. Remove the right ATG port cover.     Using a plastic scribe, pry under the keyboard trim to release it from the computer. Pry the keyboard trim along the sides and bottom. Lift up to remove the keyboard trim from the unit. Installing the Keyboard Trim Align the keyboard trim to its slot. Press along the sides of the keyboard trim until it clicks in place.

Slide the keyboard into its compartment and ensure that it clicks into place.
