1. Follow the procedures in

2. Remove the
access panel .
3. Remove the
keyboard .
4. Remove the
palm rest .
5. Remove the
6. Release the fingerprint-reader cable from the adhesive affixed to the palm
rest.
7. Remove the screw that secures the fingerprint-reader bracket.
