Compatible with the Evolve Grill series, Kitchen Bistro, and Next Grilleration G3,
G4 and G5 grills (model numbers GRP4EMB, GRP4EP, GRP4EWS, GRP90WGR,
GRP93G, GRP94WR).
GETTING STARTEd
• Remove all packing material and, if applicable, any stickers from the
product; remove and save literature.
• For additional information go to www.georgeforemancooking.com.
• Wash waffle plates in hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Note: Although the waffle plates are dishwasher-safe, we recommend
hand washing to preserve their appearance. In the dishwasher, the
metal may get a cloudy film; this film will not affect the performance

Important: your grill should always be used with 2 plates securely
attached.

USING yOUR wAFFLE PLATE SET
1. Plug in the grill and press the power button to turn on.
2. Set temperature at 425º F and allow grill to preheat for at least
5 minutes.
3. Using a pot holder, carefully open the preheated grill.
4. Carefully pour waffle batter on the bottom plate.
Note: Do not overload the cooking plate.
5. Close the grill cover.
Important: do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
6. Waffles take about 8 minutes to cook to golden brown. Set the
countdown timer on the top of the grill and a signal bell will sound
when cooking is complete.
7. Using a pot holder, carefully open the grill cover.
8. When finished cooking, remove cooked waffles from the plates using
a plastic spatula or another non-metallic utensil.
Note: Always use heatproof plastic, silicone or wood utensils to avoid
scratching the nonstick surface. Never use metal skewers, tongs, forks
or knives.
9. Press the power button and unplug to turn the grill off.
1. To attach the top waffle plate, pull
out on both release handles, set the
plate flat against the inside frame and
release the handles (A).
2. Repeat with the bottom waffle plate
(B).
3. Move the adjustable slope switch on
the back right side of the grill back, so
the grill is in the flat position (C).
Important: when using the waffle
plates, always make sure grill is
completely flat.
Note: When cooking in the flat position,
it is not necessary to set the drip tray in
front of the grill.

Care and Cleaning

CLEANING THE wAFFLE PLATE SET
1. Before cleaning, unplug grill from wall outlet and allow to cool.
Caution: do not remove the plates while the appliance is hot. Always
allow them to cool to room temperature before removing or cleaning.
2. To remove the plates, pull out on the release handles on both sides of
the plates and remove from the grill.
3. The plates can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand with hot,
soapy water.
Note: Dishwasher detergent may cause oxidation on uncoated side of
cooking plates. This is not harmful but may change the appearance of
your plates.
4. Always dry plates thoroughly before reattaching.
5. To remove stubborn buildup, use a nylon or nonmetallic scrubbing
pad to clean.
Important: do not use metallic scrubbing pads, steel wool or any
abrasive cleaners to clean any part of your grill; use only nylon or
nonmetallic scrubbing pads.
