Converting to XG

This function allows you to convert the ELS-01/01C/01X song data to XG format
data. You can playback the data using XG devices. The converted XG song data may
sound differently from the original data.
Confirm that the media should contain enough amount of available memory before
the conversion. The protected songs cannot be converted to XG format.

Select a song to be converted to XG.
For details on selecting a song, see page 13.

Press the [TOOLS] button at the top right of the display to call up
the TOOLS Page.

Press the [CONVERT] button.
A message "Which do you want to select?" appears.

Press the [CONVERT TO XG] button.
The following display appears.

(If necessary) Changes the destination to save the converted
song.
For details on changing the destination, see page 13.

Press the [EXECUTE] button.
A message appears indicating that the converted data is being checked and the
M.D.R. starts playback of the selected song. When playback is finished, the
display returns to the previous display.
