The system is equipped with the 75/60BW-1 integrated print controller which allows you to print directly from Windows-compatible computers or Macintosh computers by installing the print controller (controller release chip). Role of the Print Controller The print controller has been integrated with this machine, which allows you to print by installing the print controller. You can print from applications on the computer connected to the printing system.

    Installing the Printer Driver Automatic Installation Using the installer (PCL) With the installer, this machine is detected to determine whether it is con- nected by USB or TCP/IP network, and then the required printer driver is au- tomatically installed. You can also manually specify the printer driver to be installed.

    Installing the Printer Driver Automatic Installation Using the Installer (PS Visual) PS Visual Driver is to be installed from “Installer” of the CD-ROM. The following procedure performs installation. The installation should be per- formed by a qualified system administrator or printer administrator. 0 Windows XP screens are indicated here for description.

Refer to the table below for the appropriate procedure for installing the printer driver on your Macin- tosh computer.
