This chapter contains instructions for installing the IBM USB 2.0
CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive.

Product description

The IBM USB 2.0 CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive is a slimline DVD-ROM and
CD recordable drive that attaches quickly and conveniently to your IBM
ThinkPad
and requires connection to a USB 2.0 port. A maximum write speed of 24x
(CD-R/CD-RW media) can be obtained. Maximum read speeds of 8x (DVD media)
and 24x (CD media) can be obtained.
In addition to this manual, the option package includes:
