INSTALLATION

This chapter explains how to unpack, configure, mount, and connect the
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus8 20/30/40GB AT hard disk drive prior to
operation. It also explains how to start up and operate the drive.

SPACE REQUIREMENTS

The Maxtor DiamondMax Plus8 hard disk drives are shipped without a
faceplate. Figure 4-1 shows the external dimensions of the Maxtor
DiamondMax Plus8 20/30/40GB AT drives.
