Unit alert duration

To change the duration of received unit alert messages, select
Menu→Settings→Phone settings→Unit alert
Transmission barring
To activate or deactivate transmission barring, select
settings→Transmission barring→On
transmission barring before you enter the area where you want transmission to be
barred. or is displayed in the standby mode when transmission barring is
active. See Transmission barring

Direct mode settings

Select Menu→Settings→Direct mode
• Direct mode scanning—to activate or deactivate direct mode scanning. Direct
mode scanning allows you to receive calls made to the other groups on the
same channel.
• View active direct mode
direct mode device (repeater, gateway, or none).

Keyguard settings

Select Menu→Settings→Keyguard
• Automatic keyguard—to set the desired level of keyguard
to be activated automatically after the desired time. Select
