Checking the End of a Recorded
Scene

(Recording Check Function)

To play back the final few seconds of the last recorded scene in
the Recording Pause Mode.

Press the [S] Button briefly in the Recording
Pause Mode.

≥The [CHK] Indication
After that, the Movie Camera returns to the Recording
Pause Mode and is ready for recording the next scene.
≥The noise bars may appear when switching from
Recording Pause to the last recorded scene.
Viewing Recorded Scenes During Recording
Pause (Camera Search Function)
This function makes it easy to search for a point in a previously
recorded scene on cassette from which you want to start
recording a new scene. In addition, it ensures smooth scene-to-
scene transitions free from picture distortion.

Keep the [sSEARCH] Button (or the
[SEARCHr] Button) pressed in the Recording
Pause Mode.

(Backlight Mode)
To prevent the backlit subject from being recorded very dark.
Under some conditions, this function may not work properly.
