Basic Recording mode: 4 Taking Pictures Using the Automatic Function (Intelligent Auto Mode) The camera automatically sets the appropriate settings according to the subject and recording condition. This mode is recommended for beginners to take pictures easily. • The following functions are activated automatically.

Advanced-Shooting Auto White Balance (AWB) Depending on the conditions prevailing when pictures are taken, the pictures may take on a reddish or bluish tinge. Furthermore, when a multiple number of light sources are being used or there is nothing with a colour close to white, Auto White Balance may not function properly. In a case like this, set the white balance to a mode other than [AWB].

Advanced-Viewing Playback mode: 8 Playing Back Pictures in Sequence (Slide Show) You can play back the pictures you have taken in synchronization with music, and you can do this in sequence while leaving a fixed interval between each of the pictures. A new picture cannot be created if there is no free space on the built-in memory or the card so we recommend checking that there is free space and then editing the picture.
Advanced-Viewing y [TITLE EDIT] You can add text (comments) to pictures. After text has been registered, it can be included in prints using [TEXT STAMP] (P90).
