Streaming settings
Use this menu to set up and customise a connection
profile for accessing streaming servers.
1. Press [Left] or [Right] to select a profile in the
Select profile line.
2. Specify each information:
•
Profile name: enter a profile name.
•
Proxy host: enter the host name of the proxy
server for accessing the streaming server.
•
APN: enter the access point name used for
accessing the streaming server.
•
User ID: enter the user ID required to connect
to the GPRS network.
•
User password: enter the password required
to connect to the GPRS network.
•
Portal URL: enter a portal URL address.
•
Proxy port: enter the port number of the
proxy server.
•
Use Proxy: select to activate the proxy server.
3. Press <Save>.

To save the time and expense of an unnecessary service
call, perform the simple checks in this section before
contacting a service professional.
When you switch on your phone, the following
messages may appear:
"Please insert SIM card"
•
Be sure that the SIM card is correctly installed.
"Phone lock"
•
The automatic locking function has been enabled.
You must enter the phone's password before you
can use the phone.
"Enter PIN"
•
You are using your phone for the first time. You
must enter the PIN supplied with the SIM card.
•
The PIN lock feature
