Use the dial-up network feature

Learn to set your phone to be used as a wireless
modem for a PC when connected via the USB port.
Use the GSM dial-up network
1. In Menu mode, select Settings → PC
connections → Samsung PC studio.
2. Run Samsung PC Studio on your PC.
→ Internet Connector.

service provider.
Use the CDMA dial-up network
To create a modem connection on a PC,
1. Click Start → Control panel → Network
connections → Create a new connection.
2. Click Next.

3. Select Connect to the network at my
workplace and click Next.
4. Select Dial-up connection and click Next.
5. Enter a company name and click Next.
6. Enter a phone number and click Next.
7. When you are finished, click Finish.
Methods of creating modem connections may
differ depending on the operating system of the
PC.
To use the dial-up network feature,
1. In Menu mode, select Settings → PC
connections → UIM dial-up network.
2. If Samsung PC Studio is running, close the
program (if necessary).
3. Using an optional PC data cable, connect the
multifunction jack on your phone to a PC.
