Fault displays
Text on display panel
"Tap closed?"
"Tap closed?" is
displayed even though
a lot of water has run in.
"Pump blocked?"
"Pump blocked?"
"Door open?"
If the fault cannot be rectified with the aid of the above tables:
q Switch off the appliance.
q Wait 5 seconds.
q Switch on the appliance.
q Select and start a programme.

vice, see page 53.
Possible cause
Mains water tap is not opened.
Inlet hose kinked or pinched.
Filter blocked in water inlet hose.
Water pressure too low.
Safety function has detected
an appliance defect.
Pumped blocked by foreign objects.
Drainage pipe and / or drainage
hose blocked.
Door not closed properly.
Remedy
Turn the tap on. Programme will
continue automatically.
Eliminate cause.
Clean filter, see Page 46.
Eliminate cause.
Do not open the appliance door as
water may run out! Repeatedly select
"Drain" programme until the water
level is low enough to remove the
laundry. Call Customer Service.
Clean the pump, see Page 45.
Clean drainage pipe and / or
drainage hose.
Check whether an item of laundry
is jammed; close the door.
