Use [1] to select "ON/OFF" ([DVD-V] [VCD]), and
change using [3 4].
[RAM] (Only discs that contain subtitle on/off information)
Subtitle on/off information cannot be recorded using Panasonic DVD Recorders. (Subtitle on/off infor-
mation is also not recordable on Panasonic DVD-R finalized with a Panasonic DVD Recorder.)
Adjusting the position/brightness
Using [2 1] to select "Subtitle Position/Subtitle Brightness" and adjust with [3 4].
≥ "Auto" automatically adjusts the brightness.
Selecting how to show 4:3 aspect pictures on the LCD

≥ If you are not using the LCD on this unit, select "OFF" to conserve power.
