PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING THE LENS WITH A FLASH

Built-in FLASH

Minimum distance from flash to subject with the built-in flash
The built-in flash can not be used when the distance is less than 0.7 m. When the flash is
used within 0.7 m, it causes incorrect exposure control and vignetting in the picture corners.
Focal length
The light is not distributed evenly and vignetting occur at focal lengths between 16mm to
28mm, and the focal length at 28 mm and focus distance less than 1m.

External FLASH

When using the external flash, vignetting will not occur with the lens hood.
For further details, refer to the operating manual for your external flash.
