Checking Call Barring Status
1. Press Right on the Express Key, scroll to Services
and press
2. Scroll to either Incoming or Outgoing and press
.
3. Scroll to the specific type of Call Barring you would
like to check and press
4. Scroll to Status and press
Barring and On or Off displays.
Changing the Call Barring Password
1. Press Right on the Express Key, scroll to Services
and press
2. Scroll to Change PW and press
3. Enter your old password at Old Password? and
press
4. Enter the new password twice at New Password?.
Press
each time. Change Password OK displays.
Note: Interaction of Call Barring and Call
Forwarding—Forward-to numbers that conflict with
an Outgoing Call Barring are rejected. When you bar
all incoming calls, Call Forwarding is turned off.
Call Waiting Service
Activating/Deactivating Call Waiting
1. Press Right on the Express Key, scroll to Services
and press
2. Scroll to Waiting and press
3. Scroll to Activate or Cancel and press
confirmation displays.
Note: Your phone must be able to connect to a PCS
network in order to activate, cancel or verify the status
of call waiting. See "Multi-Party Conferencing" later in
this chapter for more details.
