Cabinets that contain systems and storage must be assembled by qualified assemblers: HP Manufacturing,
CustomSystems, or an authorized HP Certified Integration Partner.
For custom integration of systems, options, cabinet expansion offerings, and additional HP and third-party devices, or
for other cabinets, doors, and trim kits of a different color, contact CustomSystems at
1-800-AT COMPAQ, or your local authorized HP Certified Integration Partner.
Step 5b Rack 10000 Series - Optional
10000 Series rack enclosure supports up to 12 DS10 systems (10642)
10000 Series rack enclosure requires selection of the following items:
10642 rack
Rack sidewall kit or baying kit
Deployable stabilizer
Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
Ballast kits (if required)
Factory integration

10000 Series rack requires selection of a power distribution unit
Each system requires a DS10 Rack-mount kit (3X-PBX01-AA).
Each system requires a rackmount power cord.
NOTE: The number of ballast kits required is determined by the number of system boxes. Ballast kits are required according to
