DIESEL EXHAUST BRAKE To let you engage
an extra measure of braking confidence
on long grades, the diesel exhaust brake,
included with the available duramax diesel
engine, uses engine compression to create
"negative torque" to help slow the vehicle.

detect impending wheel lock-up

HILL START BRAKE ASSIST
To help you hold your place when
parked or stopped on a hill, Hill
start Brake assist senses potential
"roll-back" and then holds full brake
pressure when you lift your foot
from the pedal. it gives you up to 1.5
extra seconds to apply power and
drive off. (not available on Hybrid or
drW models.)
