9-70 Upgrading Your Server
BACKUP DEVICES
This server has one bay for installing a file backup device such as a magnetic tape drive.
IMPORTANT:
To install a backup device that has an SCSI interface, a separately
sold SCSI controller and SCSI cable (K410-146 (00)) are required.
(For details, see Supported cards and slots into which they can be
inserted on page 239.)
Do not install a backup device that is not specified by NEC.
Only devices that have dimensions up to a width of approximately 9
cm (3.5 inches) and a height of approximately 4 cm (1.6 inches) can
be installed in this server.
