Drain pump

Foreign objects or fluff may block the
pump. If the water has not completely
drained:
q Drain the water
(provide a suitable receptacle for up to
20 litres).
d Risk of scalding!
Allow the hot water to cool down before
hand.
Keep children and pets away from the
washing machine.
q Switching off the appliance.
q Open the service flap.
q Take the drainage hose out of the hol
der and pull out of the housing.
q Remove the service flap.
q Remove the sealing cap and allow the
water to flow into the receptacle.
q Press on the sealing cap (1.) and insert
the drainage hose into the holder (2.).
q Carefully unscrew the pump cover.
A little more residual water will flow
out.
q Remove foreign objects/fluff from in
side and clean the interior. The pump
impeller wheel must be able to rotate.
Remove detergent residue and fluff
from the pump cover thread and pump
housing.
q Insert the pump cover and screw tight.
q Insert and close the service flap.
To prevent unused detergent from flowing
into the drain during the next wash cycle:
q Pour 1 litre / 1 ¾ pt of water into
chamber II.
q Select the "Drain" programme.
