Do not use the vacuum cleaner if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water. Do not use the vacuum cleaner with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord or plug is damaged, return the vacuum cleaner to an Authorised Dirt Devil Service Agent for examination, repair or adjustment. - Page 3 16. Take extra care when vacuuming stairs. 17. Keep vacuuming area well lit. 18. Store the vacuum cleaner indoors in a cool, dry area. 19. Turn off the on/off switch before unplugging the vacuum cleaner. Getting Started Connect fl oor tool, wand and hose to machine. Plug into power point, and switch power on at the wall. Start your vacuum using the On/Off button. - Page 6 Maintenence Empty dust bin by pressing the dust bin latch. Remove HEPA fi lter and Gauze cover. Separate Gauze cover and tap HEPA fi lter over a bin. Remove exhaust fi lter cover and take out exhaust fi lter. Wash and replace.
