- Page 4 Operation and use Turning the appliance on Insert the plug into the mains socket and switch on. Turn the thermostat dial clockwise to its highest setting (so the number 6 is visible). The heater has 3 heat settings: Minimum power: Press the bottom of the left switch (the red light on the switch will come on) Medium power: Press the bottom of the right switch (the red light on the switch will come on)
