Parking brake, electrical socket

Parking brake (handbrake)
The lever is located between the front seats.
The parking brake operates on the rear
wheels when it is applied.
NOTE! The lamp comes on irrespective of
how hard the parking brake is applied. For
this reason, always pull the lever to the end
position.
Apply the parking brake
– Press the foot brake down firmly.
– Pull the parking brake lever to the end
position.
– Release the foot brake and make sure
that the car is stationary.

– Move the gear selector into position:
1 for manual gearbox
P for automatic transmission.
Parking on a hill
• If the car is parked uphill. - Turn the
wheels away from the kerb.
• If the car is parked downhill. - Turn the
wheels toward the kerb.
Release the parking brake
– Press the foot brake down firmly.
– Pull the parking brake lever up slightly,
press the button, release the parking
brake lever and release the button.
Electrical socket in the rear seat
The electrical socket can be used for 12 V
accessories, such as mobile phone chargers
and coolers. The maximum current is 10 A.
For the socket to supply current, the ignition
key must be in at least position I.
WARNING!
Always leave the plug in the socket when
the socket is not in use.
Cigarette lighter (option)
Activate the lighter by pushing in the button.
The button pops out when the lighter is hot.
Pull out the lighter and light a cigarette on the
heated coils.
